Who may use it
Ratibu is for students and staff of the university. By signing in you agree to these terms and to the university’s rules on the use of its IT services.
The service
Ratibu lets university admins publish semester dates and holidays, lecturers schedule weekly classes, and students join them, and keeps those classes up to date on each participant’s Google Calendar.
Your account
You sign in with your own Google account. Don’t share access, and don’t sign in as someone else. Lecturers and admins are given their roles by the university.
Using it well
- Only add students who are taking the class, and only use their email addresses for that class.
- Keep notes to students relevant to the session they’re about.
- Don’t try to access classes, data or admin features that aren’t yours, or interfere with the service.
The timetable
Ratibu shows the timetable as lecturers and admins have entered it. Calendar updates usually arrive within seconds but can be delayed, for example by Google or by a lecturer’s expired calendar access. If something looks wrong, check with your lecturer.
Availability
The university aims to keep Ratibu running but can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and may change or withdraw features.
Google services
Signing in and calendar events are provided by Google, and your use of Google Calendar is covered by Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
Privacy
How Ratibu handles your information is explained in the privacy policy.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date.
